Andreas Schaff, President, BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) India, in an interview said “BMW Motarrads sees a huge potential in India”. BMW two wheelers which entered India 13 years ago are likely to be seen playing their second innings in the near future.
BMW had a joint venture with the Hero groups during their 1
st innings, and now they planning to work alone. If BMW launches Motorrad in India, then it will compete with the premium segment bikes. Andreas Schaff also said that “BMW is very keen to enter India and an announcement will be made soon”.
