Yamaha Motor India has launched the new YZF R15 Version 2.0 at a price of INR 1.07 Lakhs. Few years back Yamaha India struggled to climb the sales chart and it was in the year 2008, Yamaha introduced the little super machine R15. And this did wonders for Yamaha.
Coming to the R15 v2.0, the bike has undergone only cosmetic changes with addition of wider tyres. Yamaha India claims that all these upgrades are done after customer’s feedback. Now let us quickly list down the upgrades:
The R15 v2.0 is purely track oriented. In other words, the bike is not suitable for bad and broken roads. Finally, it’s a good news for people who primarily wish for the looks and for the performance geeks, its really a disappointment. Overall the new version looks really good and Yamaha has learn't to design according to the customers likes. Hope that other manufacturers will also follow what Yamaha did.
Yamaha R15 2.0
Ex-showroom (Delhi) Price - INR 1,07,000
